Remembrance Sunday 100th
Here they celebrate the fallen in harmony
But no Bank Holiday is to greet
Their utmost respect. Odd hypocrisy
Or cultural dichotomy to meet.
Military forces divide our society
For any hero passed away in the sleet.
The absence from cenotaph is untimely ;
An unpleasant shift to yearly rite.
Their souls, a valuable token of unity.
